Lori Hunt just wants to keep a low profile. She travels to Chances Inlet and is taken in by Patricia McAlister who runs the Tide Me Over Inn. Lori becomes an employee of the inn and among her duties she is a cook and most of all a pastry chef. Miles visits the inn often as it is his mother's baby. He and Lori share an attraction but she keeps pushing him away....telling him she is not good for him.

Congratulations Tracy! You have created another very engaging tale. Love your characters, including the dogs. I had trouble putting it down. Who could be the thief? and what is Lori's secret?
A little mystery mixed with a lot of romance. Great book! I did not want it to end! Can't wait for more!
Wow! I loved it.
The story dragged on, and the ending was anticlimatic! The interlude was totally sexual, yet the affair was to supposedly be a true, deep love. Author didn't make it happen!
Always love Tracy Solheim's work but this one is on my favorites list.
She again expertly weaves 2 storylines and romances throughout the book. She also doesn't fall prey to the "write a bunch of explicit scenes" to pad the book.

Love this book! Had trouble putting it down as I was so intrigued with "who done it" and how on earth are Miles and Lori ever going to survive together and what really was Lori's story. Great story that will keep you reading all night long! Good to visit with the other characters in Chances Inlet. A MUST read, I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!!
I could not wait to read Miles' and Lori's story and oh boy was it worth the wait. Their story is a fun ride between laughing, crying and poignant moments. The characters were well rounded .....one minute you love them the next you are calling them an "idiot ". I can't wait to see who I get to read about next in Chances Inlet. This book is part of a series but Tracy does such a good of giving you enough back story that even if you read it as a stand alone you feel as though you get their whole background and connection to the story. Also, a good secondary storyline....I loved this book 😍😍😍😍😍
